The
SRDVR48016 standalone DVR surveillance unit is an advanced network
capable digital video recording system. A truly plug-and-go device
akin to a typical home appliance, in that no previous knowledge
or configuration is necessary. All you need to do is just plug
in the surveillance equipment and it is ready to deliver long
term, digital video storage and retrieval. SRDVR48016 also features
all functions of a quad and a multiplexer that makes the transition
to a DVR surveillance solution process seamless and cost-effective.
The
SRDVR48016 is also extremely scalable featuring 4 additional EIDE
hard disk drive bays to increase storage if needed. Additionally,
unlike its PC-Based DVR counterparts, no pre-formatting of hard
drives are necessary as formatting is automatically done by the
system in its own unique file system.
Original
recording picture resolution is 720x480 which is the highest level
of picture resolution available in standalone DVRs today. Further,
SRDVR48016 is one of the few high performance standalone DVR that
allows remote access via the internet for real time monitoring
and allows downloading recorded data in JPEG or AVI format. With
the use of PTZ cameras with SRDVR48016 will also allow a user to remotely
control motorized cameras.
